Cross Impossible Mission with Metroid and you get this wonderful anime-themed action adventure game where the Sega Light Phaser is your actual in-game weapon.

It's a catchy one! I actually prefer the SMS rendition, but the anime one is definitely the theme to a 1980s show for sure! (I love the OST cover art, where one of the band members has a keytar!)
